Reviews
On the day we visited, my girls went to see one movie with friends while my husband and I went to see another.
It was quite slow, being a Saturday night, and I was surprised to see very few people in any of the shows.
Personally, I enjoy a slower cinema because we don't have to rush to get tickets, and there's less chance of having a loud group nearby.
The place was clean and well stocked.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The movie prices were very gentle on the wallet also! It was nice being able to take a date night with my husband for under $50, popcorn included.
I drove over an hour to see the Taylor Swift Eras Tour at this theater. It was very nice. The outside is updated from the photos on Google maps. It was near a shopping center, fast food drive thrus, and a sheetz. The theater was clean. My only complaint was that this was a sold-out show, and no employee refilled the drinks at all from 6 pm to 10:15. The machine was almost completely empty. Ice was also empty or low. I spent $12 on a Taylor cup and only got a half cup of drink. When our show let out at 10:15, there was no one else in the lobby but the workers, and still they didn't refill the pop machine.
Very old AMC location. Not updated since the 90s. Uncomfortable seating but very kind staff.
Nice theater. Clean and friendly. Screens aren't huge, but neither are the crowds. So it makes for an enjoyable experience
Is not the glitziest or most high tech cinema but it's local, comfortable and reasonably priced.
Cinema food is always excessive! Bathrooms are usually clean. Not a bad place all in all.
I mean come on my guard they can’t even put a phone number on their website and you go there. They’re all standing around and judging you and I do enjoy going there to watch a movie but total unprofessionalism.
this review is 1 star because I thought movie started at 12. so we walked in gpt tickets. telling them 3 adults 1 child for saw 12:00, got tickets and refreshments and told movie theater 9. we went in noticed already playing . and not the beginning. I went back out and told them. they said that one started at 11:15. they looked at my stubs it says 2:15. why were we told to go see movie?
did they think we wanted to see end before the begining?
Complained to manager he said he won't let us go see another movie. get refund. or exchange tickets. so now 1hr down and all pop and popcorn gone. what fun.
I haven't been to this movie theater in 20 years. It was good and I like you how you could put your own butter on your popcorn. I still think that you should get free refills with the large tub of popcorn. The seats were comfortable and the picture was nice.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the AMC Classic South Pike Cinema, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The seats were comfortable and provided an excellent view of the screen. The theater was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The highlight of the experience, however, was the delicious popcorn. It was fresh and perfectly salted, making for an excellent movie snack. Overall, I highly recommend the AMC Classic South Pike Cinema for anyone looking to enjoy a great movie with comfortable seating and tasty popcorn. It's a must-visit for any movie lover in the area.
Best theater in the area. Very clean, comfortable seating.
